I want this site to be usable for as many people as possible. Accessibility isn’t a feature I tack on at the end, it’s part of how I think about design.
I try to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, but guidelines are only the baseline. My goal is for this space to feel usable, clear, and welcoming, not just compliant.
It’s built with semantic HTML. I test it manually with VoiceOver and keyboard-only navigation, and with ARC Toolkit, Accessibility Insights for Web, and WAVE. The most recent pass checked color contrast against every surface a color lands on, keyboard focus order, and what a screen reader announces. It fixed what it found.
